1. Oregon Wants Camp Hosts
2. California Needs Camp Hosts-Apply Here
Camp Blanco RV Park, a Good Sam park is now accepting inquiries for becoming a workamper host. We are a very clean, quiet and well-maintained 25 space park on the southern Oregon coast in Port Orford, just about 65 miles north of the California border. An incredibly beautiful, uncrowded, quaint fishing village, but still within a short drive to all bigger services.
Due to my father's new battle with lung cancer and my intent for my wife, 3 kids and I to spend as much time with my parents right now as we can, we are considering trading space rent and full hookup utilities (no salary....sorry) for part-time hosts here at Camp Blanco. Utilities include electric, water, sewer, garbage, 60-channel cable TV, FREE HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET, on site propane service, and more.
I run the park myself and thoroughly enjoy doing it. My wife works at the local Credit Union. For more info on us please visit http://campblanco.com and for more on Port Orford see http://discoverportorford.com or http://portorford.org.
We are extremely easy to get along with people, as you would find by asking nearly anyone in our small town of 1200, and we are asking for basic help for a few days a week with the following:
Registering guests and taking reservations
Basic (light) property maintenance (some mowing, watering, etc.)
Please contact us via email only at this point please, (firstname.lastname@example.org) as we are in our busiest season and have many things going on at the moment. We are looking for someone who may want to stay here long term or permanently for this position. Thanks!
